 (D) Process to assess individual and team performance                                                    5

  •      Department follows university suggested policy in order to assess individual as well as team performance.
  •        During project lab, progress of each project is evaluated by project mentors and after completion of respective part of project, mentor gives marks of that completed part.
  •          It becomes easy for project mentor to assess individual and team performance as students do their project work during lab in his/her presence.
  •          Apart from that for progressive assessment project presentation is arranged by project mentors during half term period and after completion of project second presentation cum project competition sponsored by ISTE student’s chapter is arranged at department level in order to assess overall progress of the project and it’s working.
  •          Experts from respective fields are invited to assess/judge projects of students.
  •         This final presentation is like End Semester Examination of overall Progressive Assessment.
  •          At the end of semester faculty from other institute conduct End Semester Exam / Viva and assess project and individual and team performance.

      ·    PO and PSO attainment is evaluated based on the performance of direct assessment and indirect assessment processes. To measure attainment of POs and PSOs, direct and indirect assessments have 80% and 20% weightage respectively   (a) Direct Attainment In direct Attainment there are two assessment required . 1)Internal assessment 2) External assessment · In this Process first all course subject course outcomes mapping with Program outcome (PO1 to PO7) with  level 1,2,3 ·   CO attainment for all courses through internal and external assessment ·   For Example to evaluate the PO attainment all COs which correlate with PO1, multiply with CO attainment individually. ·   So sum of that value divided by sum of correlation level with PO1 is attainment of One course with PO1.
