· PO and PSO attainment
is evaluated based on the performance of direct assessment and indirect
assessment processes. To measure attainment of POs and PSOs, direct and
indirect assessments have 80% and 20% weightage respectively
(a)Direct Attainment
In direct Attainment there are two assessment required .
1)Internal assessment
2) External assessment
·In
this Process first all course subject course outcomes mapping with Program outcome (PO1 to PO7) with level 1,2,3
· CO
attainment for all courses through internal and external assessment
· For
Example to evaluate the PO attainment all COs which correlate with PO1,
multiply with CO attainment individually.
· So sum of that value divided by sum of correlation level with PO1 is attainment of One course with PO1.

A similar exercise is performed to evaluate the attainment of all POs and PSO for each course. The Course attainment value for each PO and PSO is then tabulated for all the courses of the programme to measure the direct attainment value for POs and PSOs as under:
( (b)Indirect Attainment:
Indirect assessment tool for
evaluation of PO/PSO attainment is graduate exit survey. The survey questionnaires
for above survey are such that they can be mapped to PO/PSOs. The feedback
received is in level of 0 to 5. Based on the feedback received, the attainment
of POs/PSO is calculated as under:
